Formally inaugurated on the1st March 1988, the B.U.T.F has as its Chairman, Head Instructor and Examiner, Master R M K.Choy 8th Degree Black Belt who has nearly four decades of Taekwon-Do experience behind him. Ably Supporting him are the Executive Members of the Federation : Master (Miss) T.Y.Au 7th Dan,  & Master L.S.Sangha 7th Dan along with numerous 6th 5th  & 4th Dans, who between them total up over 2 centuriesof active, hands on Taekwon-Do experience.

B.U.T.F classes are structured around the students ability to learn, with the emphasis being on technique, fitness and the elements of the art.

The B.U.T.F operates:

• Regular grading tests which enables its Colour Bel members to move up through the ranks towards the coveted Black Belt
• Regular grading tests for Black Belts
• Regular Black Belt training sessions.
• Regular Instructors courses
• Regular Umpires and Referees courses
• An intensive annual programme of National and International competitions enabling its memebrs to compete and compare their prowess in the Art against others in the Taekwon-Dp fraternity.
